Center for Biocatalysis and Bioprocessing of Macromolecules

Enzyme-catalysis is a powerful tool that has not yet received adequate attention in Polymer Science. Enzymes are well known to operate under mild conditions, with impressive selectivity, on a diverse range of natural and non-natural substrates. These characteristics provide exciting opportunities.

The Center for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications and Distributed Information Systems (CATT)

CATT is a research and education group at Polytechnic Institute of NYU, long-recognized as one of the best engineering schools in the country.

The Center is supported by The New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR).

Center for Drug Delivery Research

Intense competition to provide drug therapies that target challenging strains of maladies requires superior delivery and targeting technology. Developing and applying this knowledge is the goal of the Center for Drug Delivery Research.

A partnership between NYU-Poly and SUNY Downstate Medical Center, the Center provides a multidisciplinary approach to the design, development and evaluation for the delivery of therapeutic agents.

Cyber Security

The Information Systems and Internet Security (ISIS) Laboratory is an NSF funded laboratory consisting of heterogeneous platforms and multiple interconnected networks to facilitate hands-on experimentation and project work in issues related to information security.

Institute for Technology and Enterprise

Committed to the nurturing and building of managerial knowledge associated with innovation, the Institute for Technology and Enterprise conducts research, develops original learning materials and holds a wide range of events.

P2P Networks

Our vision is that P2P will transform the Internet from a shared bandwidth infrastructure into a combined bandwidth/storage/computing infrastructure, creating a massive, global virtual computer which will be shared by users around the world.

Mechatronics

The exciting field of mechatronics-increasingly recognized as a contemporary, integrative design methodology-is serving as a vehicle to engage and stimulate the interest of Polytechnic students in hands-on, interdisciplinary, collaborative learning.
